Yes, it would definitely take awhile though.  There is actually 2 batteries in it.  Model:  XTT 18650, 2000 mAh batteries.

how many hand cranks or how long do I have to hand crank to bring back up to full power?

Hello friend, Kindly remind that the radio only has one hand crank and spin the handle for 1 minute at the speed of 130rpm.It can be used for high beam illumination for 30 minutes or radio for 6 minutes.We recommend to use USB charging as much as possible under normal circumstances. Hand crank charging is used in emergency situations.Hope this can help you.

In a longer term emergency situation, can the solar recharge the 4000 mah battery or will the solar only charge the lithium battery for radio & light?
