Its sweet and simple. 3xAAA batteries needed per light. Magnet is good, as long as you have a magnetic surface. And the light is white and bright. Worked fine on my old rusty BBQ. Pretty handy to see the actual color of charring on the meat. And can be used in many other situations. Price is good for the item and quality received. Good finish and quality on the lights

Firstly, let me acknowledge these lights are insanely cheap (around US$8) - which would usually deter me from such a product, but the reviews were plentiful and positive. After a couple of weeks of use, I'm thoroughly underwhelmed. The magnets are weak and unless you apply them before starting your grill, they're impossible to attach reliably (and forget about adjusting them once the heat is on). They repeatedly fall off the lid of my Weber, and don't even stand vertically on the tray rest, which basically means they are now effectively a cheap hand-held flashlight. Next time, I'll buy proper lights that firmly affix to the BBQ handle.

Made grilling at night easier

Massively mis-advertised. They were 10% of the size i thought they were going to be - still not wasted though, my 6 year old daughter used them as bbq lights for the bbq in her doll house, perfect size for that, and she was very happy with them. Worth AED 42? - yes, if you have a small daughter with a doll house, where "Ken" enjoys doing a bbq for "Barbie". Eyes rolling. Not for an adult bbq.
