A: I am a plumber and this will not fit a garden hose. You will need a male hose by female iron pipe adapter.

A: Have no idea on the lead, it seems to be made of brass.

**Q: Are the threads NPT?**
A: The thread is 3/4 NPT. You can connect a garden hose or washing machine hose buying an adaptor 3/4 NPT to 3/4 HOSE and that's it. Andre
