Not the Action if your casting all day. more of a live bait rod. Casting lures all day, you must go MODERATE......MODERATE/FAST Action. Hope this helps you make the right selection tailored to you.

Yes there is a 1 year warranty. I broke the rod tip then contacted Okuma and they sent me a brand new top half of the rod with no charge.
