I installed this on my water line after my pressure tank from my surface well to catch sediments. After a year of use, It still in good quality and work's well. You can see if sand is trap's in the bottom so you just open the drain valve and the spring push the separator down and clear the deposit. I fitted a hose in the bottom so the water flow directly to my drain. My plumber who worked on my house said it was well made and good quality

Purchased product as a support to finer filter system. It catches larger contaminates before the reach the finer filter, however after a short time the o'ring became worn and united started to leak, upon contacting the supplier about a new o'ring their representative, Carina sent me a whole new unit!! The gesture was very much appreciated and will allow me to fix the leaking issue. Definitely a well supported product that I would recommend to anyone needing such a system

Placed this on one of our yard hydrants so that sand from our well doesn't keep clogging up our sprinklers. Works great and is super easy to clear out sediment with valve on the bottom. Very well built with solid, heavy parts.
