Review & Important Size Info
I bought these shoes for cycle touring instead of carrying 2 pairs. They fit all my criteria 1. Recessed cleats 2. Have enough grip for wild camping and light trekking 3. Subtle and fashionable enough to be worn around town without looking overly techie Clipping In: I have never used recessed cleats before, but found them easy to use. They are probably a little bit more difficult to clip-in than my usual road bike shoes, but not much. As far as walking, the cleats do not scrape at all except if you hit and uneven surface, but for the most part no one will be aware that you are wearing cleats. Perfect. I use: Shimano A520 SPD Touring Pedals. These shoes work fine for clipped-in or clip-less pedalling. Normal Wear: The shoes have plenty of grip. I played a game of basketball in them just to break them in before my tour. No problems at all, no slippage. I found them more than comfortable enough for camping and casual walking. Fashion: Fashion wise, I think they are fine. I have to be honest and say I would prefer my normal road bike shoes for riding and my normal Converse shoes for casual wear. But they look decent overall. Sizing: I noticed that a lot of reviewers are mentioning that you need to go a size up with these shoes. But the real issue is that the Amazon size chart does not match the Giro one. For example, the Amazon chart reports that my 46 shoes are UK-12, but the chart of the Giro website reports that 46 is UK-11. I ordered UK-11 (46) as a I normally would and the fit is spot on. Misc: . They are nicely water resistant. I did get stuck in a big downpour, but if my feet were wet I did not notice it. The shoes dried quickly as others have mentioned. . They came back from my little cycle tour in excellent condition and seem well made. . I would definitely recommend these shoes for commuters and cycle tourists. . These are the best selling MTB shoes over at Evans, but are cheaper here.

sizing a little tight but good rigid shoes, and much safer on wet pavements
I cycle for leisure; big days out, trips to the pub etc. I don't like having to walk around in cycle shoes and sometimes just standing up in them can be lethal if the ground is wet/slippery. These have a Vibram sole unit (any kind of actual sole would be better than a smooth plastic plate), which seems pretty good, so I can walk around shops etc. I bought a pair of new genuine Shimano cleats and they fit well. They're not waterproof, but the water runs in from the top anyway: overshoes are the only way around that with most cycling shoes. Sizing is a bit tight, mainly in the width but they need to be snug on my feet for peddling, and seemed comfortable yesterday (40km and 600m climbing). They're not a multi activity shoe; IMO the sole would wear out far too quickly if you went hiking in them, but they are a pretty good compromise for me. On size: I'm a nine, but with wide feet so usually end up with a 10. These are 9.5, as 10 wasn't available, I'd say the length is pretty close to right but they are definitely not a wide fit. However, they lace up fine, are comfortable and don't move on my feet when I'm standing up climbing. Decent VFM for me.

Solid and Comfortable
I'm really happy with these after returning a different pair/model because they were too stiff and uncomfortable. These ones seem well made. The cleats were easy to fit and can be adjusted in every direction to cater for your most comfortable foot position on the pedals. My first ride was 22 miles and the shoes were great. They don't feel too clunky, didn't rub, no numb toes and the laces didn't come loose. My inner foot scuffed the crank arm a couple of times but I just need to adjust the cleat. They're comfortable to walk in. I walked along rocks atop a Moor, through town and all around a train station (incl stairs). They feel like basic trainers, not cycling shoes. Obviously the cleats catch on uneven rocky surfaces but you'd get that with any cycling shoe. I don't think they're suitable for hiking because they'd gum up with mud, more dry trail, paving, shops and cafes. I'm a UK 9.5 and ordered a 10. They're perfect for me.

Really nice SPD shoes for MTB. Fit is good. Grip decent on the ground

Good fit. Work well with SPDs
UK size 8.5. These are my first proper cycling shoe and they are more comfortable than I was expecting. I have wide feet and was dreading having to squeeze into something too narrow. The three Velcro straps allow good adjustment to get a tight, comfortable fit. SPD cleats from my pedals fitted without an issue. As a first time user for SPDs I found it easy to clip in and out after a little practice. The shoes have a good stiff sole as you feel securely connected to the pedals. Off the bike they are OK comfort-wise. Decent grip. Obviously not to be worn far on foot. Have completed 3 x 20k rides and so far so good. Will update after a couple of months.

Some flaws
These are okay size wise and value for money. But I wished I spent a little money and didn't get laced shoes. The laces are so short they are hard to do up. They are comfortable on long rides and offer some waterproof properties. Good for summer rides and look okay when you take coffee/cafe stops

Great shoes, size up
Great shoes, my partner recommends going up half a size as they are a little tight on the length, they feel OK when cycling but tight when walking.

Nice shoes but are not in UK sizes.
Overall nice shoes and comfortable but they are not made in UK sizes. A UK 10 is not a 45 European size, a 45 is closer to a size 11. The shoes are not a 45 either as they are short for my size 9 wideish (43) feet, I normally buy a UK 10. They just touch the end of my toes but are OK to wear. As there is 1/3" between the standard UK sizes these shoes should have 2/3" clearance.

Had for almost 2 years and are just excellent. They come tight, so read up on Giro shoes to adjust accordingly. I'm a 43 and had to get a 45 to fit comfortably.

These are my favorite go to bike gloves. I have many pair to switch out when doing consistent riding. The quality is good, they do break down after heavy use and a few years, to be expected. My favorite feature is that they pull on without needing a buckle to tighten. They stay snug and comfortable even without said buckle.

Ottimo prodotto, la scarpa sembra comoda e confortevole (ancora da provare su bici), consiglio di prendere una misura un punto più grande, io ho la 42, ho preso la 43 e mi sta perfetta.
