heavy but well built and sturdy.
wow what a great ironing board, heavy weight whis means it's sturdy (and it is) well built, easy to use once you get used to it, stored in my wardrobe, fits well the same as my 12 year old one! the added extr that i really like are the 2 bars that the legs snap on to to stop the board opening when moving.

Well built!
Very well built. Maybe a bit heavy for some, but not for me. Top class ironing board. I got on offer, for £70.

Heavier than most models but worth it for the stability it provides in use.
Great product. I never realised the benefits of a top quality ironing board. Makes ironing quicker with more efficient energy use by not dissipating heat onto the ironing board structure as my last cheaper ironing board did.

Wonderful product, poor service
The ironing board itself is excellent. It is as stable as one would hope, folds and opens perfectly, and is an ideal size. The surface is perfectly flat, making it good for sewing. My one complaint is with the service; it arrived with damaged packaging and missing two of four feet. After an arduous process I managed to contact Amazon, who told me that they would be back in touch; after two weeks, they had not been. I instead went straight to Brabantia's website; their customer service was excellent, and I quickly received replacement feet. That is the only reason this doesn't have five stars.

This is an ironing board I am recommending to all my friends as it is just perfect.

Better than most
This ironing board is the best one I have ever owned. It's lightweight, and very sturdy. I find it easy to set up and fold away again. It adjusts to the perfect height with ease. It's also got a clip feature to keep it closed when not in use. The surface area for ironing is lovely and big. I have no complaints about this ironing boards performance at all.
