EKWB EK-Quantum Torque Drain Valve, Black

Had to drain my system twice in 2 weeks, this was very nice to have. I will note, watercooling an 11th gen intel is not worth the time/money over a good air cooler. How do I know, well I tested identical setups and the watercooling did perform better over long benchmarks but this was only by 1 or 2% at most. Not worth it IMO, I believe water-cooling is DEAD at this point. The CPU nowadays is meant to eek out as much performance as possible.

Super easy to install, super quality and doesn’t leak! Seriously this takes up way less room than the typical ball valves you see. Honestly it looks better too. Just unscrew the attractive cap, screw on a fitting with a tube (you don’t need to depending on your loop), pull the collar forward and here comes the water! When done, just push the collar backwards and reinstall the cap.

I like that there is no extra bulky look to it. Looks like a standard fitting, drains like a valve should. It was simple to use & install. Installed with a EK pump, BP fittings in a T.T P8 full case (open) added pic for reference, def recommend

this is just what i have been looking for to drain my pc loop, something low profile and lightweight. push pull to open and close...gotta see how that works out with a full loop.hope to try this soon and give a update on how it went.

Works great. The way it seals prevents leaks coming from your pump. Awesome drain valve in general. The only minor problem I have with it is that I wish it allowed you to attach a compression fitting to it so that you could attach a hose and not have to try and finagle a container inside your case when you need to drain it. Would be 5 stars with that addition.

Just like all EK proudcts - looks great, does its job, no leaks, and overpriced. The aesthetic is worth it though.

These EK products are really high quality. They are not cheap, they are heavy and solid. You are going to get what you pay for. This valve looks great and fits in with the esthetics of the rest of the build. Much happier with this than having a ball valve.

Brilliant design that somehow, no one else copied. Expansive, but one of the few EK products actually worth the money.

Ist relativ klein, aber dennoch macht es bländen den Job. Mit dem kann man eine Wasserkühlung bländend entleeren. Ohne viel Stress, ein klick, und schon fliest das Wasser. Kann unbedenklich eine Kaufempfehlung aussprechen.
