Super Mini Blu-ray HD DVD for TV, 1080P Blue-ray Home Theater, Portable with Remote Control + HDMI AV Cable + Built-in PAL/NTSC, Support USB Input

Purchased this for our 2021 sienna. The vehicle came with a rear entertainment screen but no media player. We chose this player as it could play blu ray, dvds and had a slot for usb. Although it says it can only take up to 128gb usb drive, I was able to connect my crucial x6 2tb hard drive to it. From what I have tested, it will only play mp4 format videos. MKV did not work. Remote has a cheap feeling to it and to load videos from your usb, you will need to hit the “media center” button. Manual says to hit the “usb” button that does not exist. Overall I’m fairly happy as it’s perfect for family for camping and road trips. It doesn’t have a luxurious feel to it, but it works well and dvds don’t skip on bumps. Would recommend to others.

I purchased this Mini Blu-ray Disc Player and I'm extremely satisfied with its portability and performance. The video quality is what you would expect and the compact size is perfect for small spaces or portable use. The remote control is easy to use and the HDMI AV cable make the connection easy enough. It's perfect for a projector I have to use almost anywhere I want. The absolute best part is how small it is, I can use it, and put it away in a drawer when I'm done. Highly recommended! 5 stars!

Compact player that doesn’t require any set-up. One just hooks it up to the TV and plugs it in. The picture and sound are good. It plays my US and English DVDs, my home recorded DVDs, CDs and US region Blu-ray discs. DVDs can be played using an RCA hook-up. To play Blu-rays, you need to connect it to an HDMI port. The RCA cord has the 3 plugs on one end, but the other end is a single plug that goes in a port on the side of the unit. Don’t know if this is easy to replace. It has a top loader for the discs with a button on the unit. You can’t open it with the remote. When you open it, the disc is still spinning. I have it on a shelf under the TV, and it is small enough that I can open the top without pulling the unit out. I don’t like that one has to push the disc down onto a hub, and then pull it off. My front tray loader doesn’t require that. The display shows the title length, but doesn’t show the time remaining on the title & the scene like my other player. It seems to turn itself off too quickly. When you need to pause the play to leave the room and come back it will be off. So far, it remembers where the DVD was stopped when you turn it back on. With the Blu-ray, the stop button completely stopped the video and when I used play it started it over from the beginning. I had to go back to the scene list and guess where I had left off. The remote has small buttons. The manual could use more instructions; there are some buttons that have unclear functions. They should have an on-line manual with more instructions. Cord has a transformer which may block other outlets depending on your set up. I have not tried the USB connection.

This fits perfectly on my small 7 inch mantel without the hdmi. I did have to buy a 90 degree hdmi adapter because the dvd player stuck out some or had to be angled with the provided hdmi which isnt a big deal. With the adapter, as you can see it fits perfectly. It was easy to connect and the quality for the price is good. It does make a bit of noise as it turns on but quickly quiets down. The audio quality is good for a DVD player of its size. I've used with older dvds from 1994 and newer ones. Works great on all of them. I'm impressed with how good this little DVD player works! I even recommended it to my father who also bought one and loves it! :)

This Blu-Ray/DVD player is amazing! Lightweight and tiny, it takes up no space but the output is outstanding. It plays my regular DVD's but it's the Blu-Rays that it really shines with. Don't get me wrong, the DVD's look great but with the Blu-Rays, I finally know what the fuss is all about. The crispness of the picture, the sharpness, the sound - it's fantastic! I had a Blu-Ray/DVD combo before, which went kaput and was the reason I bought this one, but between the two types of discs, I couldn't really tell a difference. I'm really excited about this player and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for one for their home entertainment system! It was easy to set up, the cords you need come with it, and you're ready to go!

less than one month past my return date, screen stuck on blue screen. “ Unknown disc” at top left, even tho i just played a disc. did a “ factory reset”, cleaned laser, cleaned the brand new disc, unplugged everything and started over 10 min. later and nothing works. today is May 16, last return date was april 19. pissed off, have no idea what to do so throwing it back in the box since i can’t return it.

(update: 02/10/2024) I have decreased my rating from 4 stars to 3 stars. After having owned this player for sometime, I've realized that this player is a bit hit or miss when playing MP4 videos. Some MP4 files may play. Others play audio only of the MP4 files. Other times, the player gives other messages like invalid format. Even trying to convert the MP4 file to another MP4 file with a different codec or another format is also hit or miss depending on the software used. If you do not need this blue-ray player to play videos from a flash drive, then the player is fine. But if you primarily want to play MP4 files, might be better to get another player. Original review follows: ---------------------------- My older media player has trouble playing MP4 files. I read that some blu-ray players do play MP4s so thought I'd give this a try. I do not own any blu-ray discs so couldn't test with them. This player does play MP4 files as well as DVDs fine. I put in an 1080p MP4 file, navigated to the file and during playback, the picture quality was fine. I tried a DVD and the picture looks fine too. I test if the player can resume after power off. With a DVD, while playing, then stopping and powering down. Then powering up, there is a popup screen that asks if I wish to resume from last position or start from beginning. When trying the same with an MP4 file, the player doesn't resume from last position after power up (but does remember if file was playing, then stop button pressed, then playing again without power off). The player includes a remote control, a 33 page instruction booklet, an RCA cable, HDMI cable and the power adapter. The player is about 7 inches wide, 7 inches long and 1 inches tall. Putting in and removing a disc is all manual with a button that flips up the lid then you use your hand to place in or remove the disc. There is a USB port on the side to play MP4 media files. Overall, the instruction booklet is understandable, but there are some spelling mistakes and other errors. The primary reason I got this player is the play MP4 video files. I tried first by not using a manual but didn't so how. So I referred to the instructions. One part said to press the USB button on the remote. But there is no button labeled USB. Another part or the instructions said to press the media center button which is the correct button. I found the remote control responsive to my presses. Thought the remote seems a bit overwhelming with about 30 tiny buttons. I found myself having to look down to see where the buttons are before pressing. Here is what I like and dislike of this blue-ray player: Likes: ------- - plays MP4 video files - picture quality is very good - small footprint at about 7" x 7" x 1" - remote is responsive when pressed Dislikes ---------- - no resume after power off when playing MP4 files - remote feel overwhelming with a lot of tiny buttons I give the DiDar Super Mini Blu-ray Disc Player 4 out of 5 stars.

Ele é bem compacto, funciona bem, minha região é 220 volts e não tive problemas, só achei feio o menu dele, não é muito intuitivo e levemente complicado de entender, mas o produto em sí é leve e cabe praticamente na palma da mão. O valor é um pouco elevado. No mas estou gostando.

Ordered on 18/12, received on 30/12 in good condition, need to get a uk-us adapter as it's using us plug. Tried playing a blu-ray disc and it's playing ok, haven't tried dvd though, it's easy to set up. Size is quite compact and light, doesn't really take up much space.

Great blu ray player. Small size is a bonus. Easy to hook up and has worked flawlessly for the last few months

5/5 STAR! I spent a long time looking for one with 1. Click in (center) of disc, to lock in place... (cause I was mounting vertical on a wall) 2. plays BR not just DVD 3. slim and able to mount to wall beside TV where I don't have room for a stand or table 4. Has sharp quality 5. has remote This player, albeit expensive compared to random BR players ... is TOTALLY worth the extra cost. It is quality, easy set up, came with HDMI and RCA cords, basically throw a disc in and push play.
