It makes no claims itself but many health practitioners do regarding such products. The basic premise is that modern humans have much reduced physical contact with the ground and such contact has beneficial if not necessary effects on the human body, with particular emphasis on those which are electrical in nature.As the manufacturer is merely making a cloth sheet with silver strands that can be plugged into a modern wall outlet, the grounding plug only, this is a very good product. The cloth is thick and durable and the strands are generous, one per inch longitudinally and four latitudinally. The ground point is a well sown rubber pad with a metal nipple and the wire with snap is very long, 16 feet, for reach to a grounded outlet. The material washes well in cold water with light detergent, no softener, and line dries crisply, the texture being more of a linen feel than polyester. I do not recommend ironing. The material and construction of the pillowcase is the same as the other products, sleeping bag liner, half-, full- and queen sheet. The snap, however, on the pillowcase anyway, comes off much too easily, even accidently. Zipper clasp fell off. have to cut cloth to get pillow out. Entire zipper design is annoying to use. Suggest you buy the half sheet instead and use regular comfortable easy to use ordinary pillow cases. With that said I will keep using it as it is known to reduce inflammation. I avoid inflammatory foods so this should help. I read that it should not come in contact with cream so what to do about my night cream?
