Love this kettle! Sturdy build and beautiful colour, the temperature display and ability to set whichever temperature you want is a great touch. It boils so quickly - even when full to its large 1.7L capacity - and quietly too. This is a real upgrade from my old one, and excellent for the price.

This is such a good looking kettle from the brand of Haden which I have used across the years for small kitchen appliances because they are always very reliable and well thought through and manufactured. My kettles always need to be kitchen work horses and although I prefer substance over style, this has both. This kettle is no exception to my likes. At 3000w it boils very quickly and looks stylish, being a cool mint green in colour with faux wood trim. It has the additional feature of varying temperature controls and has a capacity of 1.7 litres making it a good buy for a family or someone who likes lots of tea and coffee or has a reason for needing to heat lots of water. It is also a sensible and kind touch to have included a second replacement filter, as these tend to 'fur' up quite quickly and are relatively flimsy, so this was appreciated very much. Very pleased with my buy.

This is a great kettle that I liked enough to buy one for my daughter. Unfortunately the warning beeps to say that the programmed temperature had been reached were very quiet on hers although she was happy enough not to want to change it. Other than this question over quality I have been delighted with its value for money (when I bought it), looks, temperature accuracy and the better quality of coffe taste whilst saving electricity by not needing to take the water temperature above 75 degrees. Happy to buy again.

This is our second temperature control kettle as we drink a lot of green tea. The first one lit up like a beautiful blue bulb, but lasted 2 years. I bought this kettle because my wife wanted one to match the kitchen 🙄. So, far I cannot fault it. It pours without spilling, it's super simple to use, one button push after your temperature has been chosen. It even tells you the water temperature of your tap water before starting. It goes up in 5 degree touches, from 40 to 95. Top button, press once, tap temperature needed in, leave alone. The lower button is a keep warm button... Super simple..... Don't worry about the cost, its total class, the rolls Royce of kettles, looks great too... Buy it. After 3 months of use I have to say I'm in love with this kettle.. It really is lovely.... Sad I know, but it's quick, quiet, and beeps at you when it's ready, it even tells you the water temperature in your tap before booking.

This attractive little kettle feels a little on the flimsy side but mine is still going strong after four years of daily use. I'd happily buy this same model again. To respond to some of the 'cons' reported in other reviews: 1. The lid being too tight -- it really isn't. Just open it with a swivelling motion from the back towards the front, and keep it clean, and it's fine. 3. The button interface being hard to understand -- it really isn't. Spend one minute with the manual to get to know your kettle when it first arrives. If you're still confused afterwards, maybe the world of electrical appliances is not for you. 4. The LED display being hard to read -- it really isn't. If you're finding it hard to read, then you'll be finding everything hard to read. 5. The LED display being too bright -- OK, yes, it is surprisingly/annoyingly bright. It's become my kitchen's de facto nightlight. 6. The wood effect is ugly -- nah... well, it looks just like it does in the product photos above. If you don't like the photos, don't get the kettle. We (in my household) all like it. 7. Short life -- as stated above mine is still operating as new after four years, no leaks, no corrosion, no malfunction. The only 'con' I would add is that it doesn't go down to 50C or even 40C, which would be really useful for me. But I struggle to find any affordable kettle that does. So, all considered, very happy with this purchase.

Very disappointing for such an expensive kettle. Looks great and has fab features like adjustable temperature settings, but terrible to use. Lid jams if not aligned perfectly when put on, continues heating for ages after the water has boiled, side and lid get scaldingly hot, and worst of all after a couple of years developed a potentially deadly leak through the electrics and out the base. Avoid at all costs.

Already ordered a second to replace another one. It's fast, it looks way better than in the pictures, it's not as loud and shaky as others say - I don't know what they hear and see. The temp function is outstanding. When you have low water, it will overheat a bit but with full pot, it heats quite to the spot (beeps earlier, then water still gets residual heat, perfect energy saving). Display is illuminated for some time then turns its light off. But shows actual temp all the time - so you know how warm your room is when you don't use it. Nice.

The product is excellent. Easy to use and really fast in boiling water, the "keep warm" feature is very useful. Unfortunately it arrived with a small dent on the lid. Since the packaging was in perfect conditions, it did not happen during the transport. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

I love my toaster and kettle, they are different from anything else I had seen in the shops and match the rest of my kitchen beautifully. (I just need my tiling done now) One thing to note though is they are coming from the UK, so if you are anywhere else, you will need to change the plug over.

Bought the matching toaster, both great items, decorative and they work !
