These Hefty trash bags are very strong and dependable. They hold a lot without tearing and do a great job containing odors. I also like that they fit perfectly in my kitchen trash can and the drawstrings make them easy to close and carry. Great quality for everyday use — I’ll definitely keep buying these!

I am a very frugal shopper and I consider these bags for kitchen and household trash one of the best I’ve used I’m willing to spend where it matters and it does with these , they are sturdy, no rips or leaks and actually do expand a bit overall they’re a top bag and the black I prefer because honestly who wants to see the trash ! Definitely recommend them .

Kept thinking that it wouldn't fit my trash can. It fits perfect! They do rip if something sharp is in the bag but there's a lot of stretch in the bag. Overall I'm happy with the trash bags.

Was sceptible to purchase but please with this purchase.. Lot of complaints about draw string ripping off.. i have hat that problem yet,, but i always pull gently on the string and then rap it around the bag below the string and tie it tight.. That way when lifting, all the stress is below the tied knot which is below where the sting is situated. This helps to eliminate that surprised ripping of the top of the bag half way to the garbage can.

Point blank they work. I love the black because you can’t see all the crap that you’re throwing away. It just masks it better than a white garbage bag. The scent is nice and not overpowering. I rarely have any bag breakage and if I do, it’s generally from me over stuffing or a sharp corner of something poking through because I’ve pressed the garbage down.

These do a great job of holding trash, and have yet to break on me while carrying them out to the dumpsters. The material feels sturdy, the drawstrings don’t break, and they have a smell that isn’t overpowering at all (frankly, it’s not that noticeable.) Hats off to Hefty!
