This seems to kill ants very well and the mounds don't come back so I assume it gets the queen too. One caveat. It's a very fine white powder and it leaves a white stain on concrete or bricks that eventually goes away but at first it's annoying.

This is the best fire ant product I've used. Sprinkle a tablespoon of dust on the mound, stir it with a stick, and no more fire ants. Works like a charm

I sprinkle this under all my sinks near the pipes. Kills bugs that try to come in when the temperatures drop. Very effective!

This product worked okay…we have a big problem with fire ants & this product got rid of them…for awhile. Maybe we needed more, not sure

This stuff really works, it took out a fire ant bed in thirty minutes. I recommend this product

I have used about everything made attempting to at least control fire ants near where they first came to the U.S. This product did the job where so many failed miserably. It took diligence but finally for now..no fire ant hills are in my yard. I found that Bengal would kill the mound with no secondary one made, and sometimes another would pop up a couple feet away in a few days. It does not work overnight. For me it took at least three days for the mound to be done with. Each morning for over two weeks I went on fire ant patrol lightly dusting any existing or new mounds. Every few days there were less mounds with a starting count of 15. Today...even after a rain that usually gets them going I can't find a mound outside. They will be back..no doubt..but this stuff for me works better than any other brand and cheaper too because I found the less I used per mound the better it worked. Just a very light dusting did the trick.
