Ecover Naturally Derived Rinse Aid for Dishwashers, 16 Ounce

In our household we use environmentally friendly products both because we feel it's the right thing to do, but also because several of us have fragrance allergies and can really only use products without "parfum" or "fragrance" in the ingredients. This certainly fit the bill. But we are very, very surprised at how effective this is as well. Honestly, I would purchase this over the blue-dyed alcohol and methylisothiazolinone whatever the heck that is. Not be to disparaging on chemicals in general, I believe in better living through science, and most odd-sounding synthetics are inexpensive mass-predicable versions of things found in nature. But penny for penny, this stuff just works BETTER. We have hard water, and this defiantly leaves the dishes with no spots. Subjectively, I'd say the dishes do not dry as fast as with the harsh chemicals, but that may be because we're open the door ten times waiting to see how they're doing. But they do dry faster than using no rinse-aid, and the dishes come out shockingly cleaner and shinier, and with no odd smell that Jet-Dry definitely adds.

Another brand smell stuck to my clean dishes. So gross. This doesn’t smell. It’s eco friendly. It works, I can tell when it runs out based on how the dishes look.

I read a post About dishwasher tabs and rinse agents and started to logically think DUH the tab May rinse off theoretically but the rinse agent is PART OF the rinse cycle. Ever Start to take a drink from a glass And you could Smell the rinse Agent? And ignored It? How many years have we done that YUK

This product isn't the most effective rinse-aid when compared to conventional products. Glasses still come out spotty However, I prioritize using more natural products and am willing to sacrifice a degree of efficacy in exchange for fewer harsh chemicals. I will continue to use this product.

Shiny dishes, especially since I started using the Ecover dish tabs with this. The one drawback is that it's water consistency, so I initially struggled with my dispenser to keep it all from running out in a just a few washes. If your rinse aid dispenser is difficult to adjust, you will have to spend some time adjusting until you get it right. But this works really well now that I am using the Ecover dish tabs. I was using this with another national brand that had a red ball embedded in the middle and the combination did not work well, in general. I was getting a lot of leftover white granules from the dish tab not dissolving completely and sometimes a red sludge from the ball. I have no idea if it was the particular combination or not, but I have used that other tablet before without issues, so it's hard to say. Regardless, for the first time, I think using the same brand together actually does seem to make for a more effective product. Typically, I have used whatever combinations of brands and rolled my eyes at the concept that using the same brand in complementary products made any difference. In this case, at least for me, it seems to. We have well water with a whole house filter. No water softener. If you have a water softener, you're probably going to get different results. I will definitely be buying this again.

I've ordered this before, but didn't have leaking issues. About two tablespoons of the liquid ended up on other items in the same shipping box. The product itself works very well and I've been using this brand of septic tank friendly products for years.

I can find this product locally from time to time but order from Amazon when needed. The product is better for the environment than some of the competition I see on the shelves. As always, I appreciate Amazon workers and prompt deliveries.

I’ve been using this rinse aid for a while, and while it’s easy to use, I haven’t noticed any improvement in drying or spot-free results on my dishes. The product itself works fine—there’s no residue left behind on my dishes or in the dishwasher, which is a plus. The packaging is okay, but I wish it came in a glass bottle instead of plastic. Also, it tends to dribble at the end of every pour, which can be a bit annoying. I’m not sure if it’s worth the price given the performance, but I do appreciate that its ingredients are much cleaner compared to most other brands. If eco-friendliness and clean ingredients are important to you, this might still be a good option.

I can always tell when my dispenser is empty because this stuff works amazing. Keeps my dishes sparkling and no residue. Very happy with this company and all the products I’ve tried. Their stain remover stick for laundry is also incredible if you have children or tend to spill on yourself a lot lol

What’s not to like it’s eco-friendly, I feel safe, using this for my family, it leaves no residue, and my dishes actually come out dry. Without this my dishes come out with wet spots all over and that makes stacking bowls and cups a no go. Love this stuff!

I like it but it seems to be used up quicker than other rinse aids. I feel like my "refill rinse aid" light is on every other day. The price is low so it's probably comparable price-wise to other rinse aids, so I'll keep buying.

All naturally derived ingredients which dries the dishes spotlessly! Most importantly I am not contaminating our Earth's water with harmful chemicals. A small tip is that if you can set the amount of rinseaid to be dispensed by your dishwasher, set it to high/ max for the best possible performance. If you cannot set this I am sure the product will still work very well.
