She weighs just less than half of the listed capacity of this trapeze, but as a former registered nurse, she requested this heavy-duty model for ultimate stability - and yes, it is very stable! You'll need a Phillips screwdriver and a socket wrench set (9/16" socket if memory serves). But it goes together quickly and intuitively. Once assembled with the nylon feet attached, you can slide it around pretty easily. I bought this for a brother who has Parkinson's. He spends a lot of time in a recliner and has a hard time getting / remaining comfortable. With this device assisting, he can reach up and pull himself into a more comfortable position.
