I just purchased this item from Amazon and it IS THE ORIGINAL!! It may be the BEST thing I have purchased on Amazon. I have a mid-length haired dog that lives inside. I also have no carpet, so I sweep about 4-5 times a day. My sweet girl wont go to the groomers and she is almost 100 pounds. I was able to use the SLEEKEZ on her and WOW!!! I can see spots I forgot she had! She was so happy to let me "comb" her with it. This morning, I didn't have to sweep my floor!!! AMAZING PRODUCT!!! 5 STARS!!! I LOVE IT!!!

It worked for my 12 year old Shih-tzu and she enjoyed being brushed. You'll still have to to brush out tangles with another comb but this comb does the body and legs great.

Does it work on cats?

Yes! The SleekEZ works great on cats. We recommend the 2.5 inch SleekEZ for cats and other small shedding animals.

Will it damage the Guard hairs on my husky?

It shouldn't. I have a German Shepard mix and it didn't mess with his guard hair. It got the "fluff" off of him.
