Wondercide flea, tick and mosquito control offers prevention and treatment in one effective plant powered spray. As a safe alternative when used as directed to conventional treatments like drops and pills, Pets and Home kills and repels fleas and ticks and can be safely used around pets and children when used as directed. Plus, it also stops itching and scratching, comforts dry skin and hot spots, and is pH balanced for healthy skin and a fresh smelling coat. Pets + Home is used for stain pets, furniture, or flooring. Did you know only 5% of the flea life cycle is adult fleas? The other 95% is in egg, larvae, and pupae stages. Made with natural essential oils, Wondercide flea, tick & mosquito control disrupts the flea lifecycle. Use on your pets, bedding, carpeting, upholstery, and other surfaces around your home to ensure full elimination anywhere adult fleas may have jumped and eggs may have fallen. Where do the Pests Come From? Why it works: The active ingredients in Wondercide Flea & Tick are cedar oil and lemongrass oil. Cedar oil blocks octopamine, which is necessary to regulate heart rate, movement, and metabolism in bad bugs like fleas and ticks. When cedar oil is present, pests are repelled. When contacted by cedar oil, pests die. For cats, we recommend our 4oz Pets + Home to ensure correct application. Our full line of natural products protects and cares for families, their pets, and their homes. Read entire label prior to use. Easy to use! Simply rub your pet’s coat in the opposite direction of growth, spray and rub in. Spray the body, legs, tail, belly, and armpits. Spritz into your hands to rub onto your pet's ears and face. Do not soak your pet. Test a small area on the back of the neck 1 hour prior to full body application. Precautionary Statement: In case of eye contact, flush with water. Not for use on birds, snakes, aquatic environments, plants, or pets with compromised health. Surfaces may be slippery when wet. Review: Best value size of bottle. It does not kill the fleas but it does work on repelling them off once they are on the dog. I say this effectiveness works for a few good hours, not all day. Will buy again and probably will get a different scent. I will warn you all that the smell is nice in the beginning but once the bottle ages, so does the scent. Only get giant bottle if you have more than two medium sized dogs. Review: Man, people are not kidding when they say it has a strong smell. It really does have a very strong smell but it doesn't stink. I got the lemon grass. It does kill fleas on contact instantly but I don't think it prevents them honestly.

This product actually does work, and I’ll share what worked for me: - That first moment that you find a flea or fleas on your pet(s) you need to give them a bath immediately with the WONDERCIDE shampoo. - After your pet is dry take a deep rectangle glass Pyrex dish fill it up with hot water put four counts of vinegar in it and 3 med drops of Dawn dish soap mix it then take a trash towel and flea comb your pet. Every time you run the brush down your pet dip it in the soapy solution until you see leftover fleas dying. You can buy it here on Amazon. It’s 8 bucks. Then spray your pet with this spray. - If it’s possible in your home QUARANTINE YOUR PET(S) TO ONE AREA. I live in a two bedroom apartment and I quarantined my pets to the living room and let me tell you it made it so much easier to prevent an infestation. Luckily, have a leather sofa. Honestly, if you’re gonna still allow your pet to sleep with you and jump on your furniture and run around your entire house, then you are just making it more difficult for yourself. - Wash everything your pet was on including your bedding, throw rugs and throw pillows, toys and if possible dry on highest heat for an hr. You can also toss your bed pillows in the dryer and put them on for an hour if you can’t wash them. Don’t put your throw rugs back down unless you plan on washing them every other day. I stored all of my throw rugs and my throw pillows after I washed them and sanitized them in my laundry room until all of this is over. - You need to vacuum meticulously EVERY DAY if you have carpets, even larger throw rugs, also under your bed and you need to edge the corners of the rooms because larve like to go into dark corners to cocoon. Then mist spray the area in your rooms that your pets hang out in like favorite corners or hiding spots. You can even spray your mattress. I also sprayed this directly on my wood, laminate floors and mop them, and it did not ruin the floor. DUMP YOUR VACUUM CANISTER OUTSIDE INTO A BAG. - You will need to comb your pet and spray them every day. Give them a bath once a week but basically just repeat the process that’s listed here until you start seeing less and less fleas and at some point if you do quarantine your pets you will be able to sleep in your room without fleas, jumping on you and biting you at night in your own bed but that’s your choice. This whole process took all of two weeks of being meticulous, I’m exhausted, but it’s worth not getting an infestation. I hope it works out for you and I’m sorry that you got fleas. It’s so annoying. I actually pride a little bit because I was like why because my pets are indoor pets so I don’t understand how they got them and I was like I’m clean person, etc. but you’ll get through it. I promise like if you’re just consistent you will get to the end of it, hopefully much more quickly than I did. Good luck.

I saw a few fleas in my cats white bowl. I did not observe fleas anywhere else. Not saying they were not anywhere, but I caught it early, which is extremely important. Years ago I had a bad infestation. This time it was not an out of control infestation. I was not getting bit on my legs, and the cat never started scratching itself. Previously, with an out of control infestation. I got rid of them by using a insecticidal bomb and flea collar which did work. I wanted to try a more natural remedy this time. To be fair, I never observed any fleas on rugs or bedding. Of curse you're unlikely to see them anyway. I sprayed this product one time on most rugs and most places the cat would sleep on. Here's the most important thing to know: I purchased the Lemongrass scent. I can't emphasize enough how strong the scent is from this product. I mean, it's completely overwhelming. Would the other scents be more acceptable? Perhaps that's what it takes to do it's thing. The scent was so unexpectedly strong I could not bring myself to use additional applications. It was repulsive to me and my cat. I'm glad I did not spray it on my cats body. The overwhelming scent was so repulsive, I decided to use Revolution Plus. This chemical treatment is applied from a small vial to the cats skin between the shoulder blades. It worked, two days later, no more fleas on my cat. I realize a lot of consumers want organic remedies for everything. Everything has their pluses and minuses. In the gardening world some organic products work and some do not. A lot of times we just need to realize chemical treatments are the way to go for control of certain problems. Does this organic flea killer / repellent work ? To be fair I really don't know. What I do know is, I'll never spray it in my house again. It took two weeks for my cat to sleep on one of the throw rugs again. After two weeks it will still not sleep on two of the other surfaces. Two final thoughts: * Buy the smaller size spray bottle first to try it. (this stuff is expensive) * If you want to prevent your cat from going on certain furniture and rugs, etc. this product could be a really good preventive for that purpose. (I tried another product, Nature's Miracle, Cat Pet Block Spray. This product also uses a combination of various oils, and other ingredients to prevent a cat from going where you don't want it to go. It did not work, did not deter the cat at all.) Wondercide Flea & Tick may be acceptable for other households. It may work as indicated, BUT, you better be ready for the overwhelming scent. In my opinion, this is a case where revolution Plus was the better option, and by the way, it will prevent fleas and other parasites from infecting your fur babies in the first place. If your rugs and furniture are infected, I would use a chemical "bomb", and closely follow the directions.

This product worked great and had a nice lemony smell to it. I would recommend it. I sprayed it on a washcloth and rubbed it on my cat and my cat didn’t mind it at all.
