Erborian CC Eye Dore Cream, 10 ml, Beige

Io ho delle occhiaie veramente tremende e ho voluto provare questo prodotto per cercare di essere sistemata anche senza trucco, devo dire che il suo lo fa molto bene. Ovviamente per delle occhiaie impegnative come le mie non c’è un miracolo ma attenua tantissimo lo scuro e dona un aspetto “sano” e fresco. Allego foto per dare prova di quello che dico, assolutamente consigliata anche per occhiaie da panda 🐼 come le mie! Senza troppe pretese ovviamente.

I bought this because I am already a huge fan of their CC Red Correct and thought it would be a good adjunct since I now have to occasionally worry about dark circles under my eyes for the first time since my son was a baby. Hooray for menopause ruining my beauty sleep. Unlike the CC cream, there isn’t so much choice of colour for this one, so I took a punt and went for the palest option, because I am one of nature’s natural goths and generally look freshly dug from the grave with my usual pallor. I will admit my first application wasn’t hugely successful. I had been thinking of this as a concealer and applied far too much. It goes on white, much like the red correct goes on green, and then changes colour on your skin. So all I will say there is to be very conservative about your initial application. When you see a tiny tube, it’s a reminder that a tiny amount goes a very long way, and that the product is buildable. I did not really think that through the first time and ended up with rather thick coverage in a slightly odd colour, and one that did not flatter me over much. Having learned from this experience, I started over and applied a very thin layer, literally just a dot of product, and carefully tapped it in. It’s a lightweight cream and so it’s easy to think so little won’t come close to solving the problem, but it really does brighten the area, and the slightly yellow undertone helps counter the shadows nicely. I have mature skin and so I am wary of what I put in the eye area: too many products just draw attention to any skin texture or wrinkles and are clearly designed for firmer, younger skin. This Erborian cream manages not to sit in wrinkles, or migrate to fill them, meaning I can apply it in the morning and still trust it to be in place int he afternoon without touch-ups, which is a big win in my book. Most importantly, this beats a concealer because it offers a translucent, skin-like finish you can build over with the rest of your makeup, lacking the occasionally chalky opacity of a lot of concealers. And that matters to me because I have good skin and feel no need, at 54, to be smothering my skin with lots of product if it’s not needed. I know how to, as a child of the eighties. I just know that my skin looks younger and fresher without going full baddie on the foundation and concealer. I had originally considered giving this just 4 stars because unlike the Red Correct, I can’t just apply it and go. It doesn’t match my skin tone like the Red Correct, which I often use in place of foundation or tinted moisturiser. But I realised that would be doing the product a disservice, because that’s not its intended use: the whole point is to be able to use this to correct the problem, and then layer your usual make-up over the top, and that is what I have learned to do. Used as intended, this is every bit as good as the Red Correct, all in a tube that will last me ages because so little is needed for each application. Despite the often hefty price tag, this is a product that performs well and offers great value for money. Worth watching out for Prime Deal Days as this and the Red Correct are often discounted then and are worth the outlay.

J ai acheté ce produit après avoir vu plusieurs vidéos sur les réseaux. Je suis très satisfaite de ce produit. Il n’est pas super coufrant mais cela me suffit et il n’asseche pas la peau. N’hésitez pas !!
