I would be delighted to write a positive review of Lock-Jaw HEX 50mm, which is an outstanding product for weightlifters of all levels! As someone who frequents the gym and has lifted heavy weights for years, I can attest that finding the right collars for my barbell has been a challenge. My gym does not have flush callers, only spring-loaded callers, and the movement of the "slop" on the plates can be very disorienting, especially when attempting to squat close to 600 pounds. This is where Lock-Jaw HEX 50mm has been an absolute game-changer for me. The fact that these collars are flush helps to solve the disorientation problem that I have faced in the past. The movement of the barbell feels much more stable and secure with these collars, which has allowed me to focus on my form and technique during my lifts. In the past, I have purchased other collars that have a rubber gasket on the inside. While they were affordable, over time, especially when leaving them in a cold car overnight, the gasket began to break down, making it increasingly difficult to get the collar on the barbell. This is not an issue with the Lock-Jaw HEX 50mm collars, as they do not have a rubber insert. They are well worth the additional price, as I have a feeling that these will last for an extremely long time and they won't have to be replaced every few years like the rubber gasket-style collars. Overall, I would highly recommend Lock-Jaw HEX 50mm collars to anyone who is looking for an excellent product that is both reliable and easy to use. These collars are flush, which provides excellent stability and support during lifts, and they are made with high-quality materials that are built to last. At my gym when I go to an area that uses the clamps I usually have to go on the hunt for some so this is an absolute win. No more hunting for clamps!! The quality is amazing and super easy to use. It locks perfectly and is easy to put on and take off. The color is so cute. I absolutely love this and am super happy I purchased this. I only wished I would’ve sooner

I've been using the same set for 8+ years with a lot of barbell dropping. My collars are still holding up great. They never loosen during a workout, and they are quick and easy to release and pull off the bar if you need to change plates quickly. Other collars I have used either don't hold very well after dropping the bar or the release lever is so tight, you can bust your fingers trying to open them. These lockjaw collars are fantastic and have neither of these issues. Highly recommend for CrossFit or with any barbell cycling where you need to change weights.

These barbell locks work great! I had purchased some other locks here on Amazon and I could not lock them. These are incredibly easy and have a soft lock / unlock. They glide smoothly on and off. 10/10 would recommend these over other ones here on amazon!

I am a professional barbell coach. I teach the main lifts- very similar to Starting Strength, and a bit of a mix of crossfit style programming for conditioning when appropriate. I say this to paint the picture that I have used many kinds of collars in applications where I might be pulling a 1RM or a heavy set of 5, or I might be doing a WOD with 30 cleans at 60kg. These collars hold as well as collars that cost 2 times as much, and I have no worries about them being damaged because they are made from durable plastic instead of aluminum. In my opinion, these collars are the BEST value collars. You might but cheaper, but over time you will replace them and what you buy will not hold as well as these. To get comparable ones, you would have to spend 2 times as much, and be concerned that the aluminum those collars would be made from might be mishandled and get deformed. That is about all I can say. I am very glad Lockjaw is making these and I plan to buy more of these as my equipment needs grow.

They work great! I use them at EOS, they fit the bar and lock with no issues.

Seem to lock on solid and have not let me down when deadlifting 400 pounds. For my requirements in my garage gym they seem just fine.

These are so much easier to use than the crappy spring ones at most gyms. Super easy to get on and off the bar. Great quality and exactly as shown.

Aber das Wichtigste ist: Es hält fest. Viel fester als die herkömmlichen Standard-Spangen oder Basic-Gym-Collars. Aber entspricht subjektiv ca. 50% so fest wie das ROGUE USA Aluminium Collar. Basic-Collar sind gerade mal 5% vom ROGUE USA Alu Version. Nur, dass es hier nicht schnallt. Wir haben das beim Deadlift getestet als auch bei Snatches. Je nach Farbe, können die Preise variieren. Somit preiswert oder auch nicht. Aber wer einen stabilen Verschluss und weichen Hebel mag, welches auch blind mit einer Hand zu bedienen ist, der kann ruhig zu schlagen! Wir haben 3 Paare davon behalten. Auch die ROGUE USA Alu benutzen wir sowie die Basic-Verschlüsse, deshalb können wir sehr gut in der Praxis vergleichen (Powerlifting bis ca. max 250kg & Weightlifting bis ca. max 120kg). DAS PLUS - Solide Verarbeitung, innen Hartplastisches, außen Gummi - Hinterlässt bei falscher Nutzung keine Kratzer am Rack/Rig oder Equipment - Leichtgängig und dennoch griffig - Verschluss fixiert gleichmäßig über gesamte Auflage DAS MINUS - könnten evtl. brechen, wenn man fest darauf steigt, was bei Metall viel geringer ist. Kurzgesagt: frei zu empfehlen! Ich hoffe meine konstruktive Bewertung konnte zu deiner Kaufentscheidung beitragen. Über ein Feedback mit "nützlich" markieren, würde ich mich freuen :-)
