What can I say.. Pentel never fails me ♡☆♡☆♡ I'm an artist.. I've also been a Pentel Fan-girl since I discovered the RSVP by tactically acquiring one from the bank years ago.. (The RSVP 0.3 is my favorite. But now they only make it in 0.7- a bummer but still my favorite.) The EnerGel Kuro, however, is a dream to work with.. Seems similar to the RTX EnerGel- which I own the entire line of.. (The odd pen out in the photo is an RTX and was not used in the quick little doodle but rather brought out for a housing comparison..) The Kuro is a sleek- sexy pen.. It's a bit lightweight for pen twirling tricks between my fingers- still works, though the RTX is better for spinning and twirling.. (But ultimately I suppose that doesn't matter to anyone who isn't me..) Will I be picking up the larger set of Kuro? Yes! Is there a difference between the Kuro and the RTX? Probably.. Though at a glance there seems to be a larger color range of RTX.. (I could be wrong..) They both use the EnerGel Ink so.. No? Anywho- The Kuro is sexy to look at.. They blend well.. They improve handwriting rather than hinder it.. Do they smudge? All pens smudge if you try hard enough.. So no, they don't really smudge unless you want them to- or are wrong handed.. Should you go with the Kuro or RTX? Either.. Pick an aesthetic honestly.. As for how they compared to other Gel pens.. I honestly am not the biggest fan of other pen brands.. My trust is in Pentel.. (Totally not sponsored- bought them with my own cash- though Pentel should pay me for how much I talk them up lol.) (Oh, if you're looking for a white gel pen for artist purposes the Pentel Hybrid Gel DX in White is better than that flower brand everyone else will tell you to use.. Like I said, Pentel Fan-girl, but honestly? Pentel Ink is just better..) The Kuro looks great on a desk and I love that there is way less branding on the sides unlike the RTX which has tons of writing on it.. If you're thinking about it? You can't go wrong with them. As a pen snob- I would totally tell you if they sucked.. They don't.. The Kuro is top tier. ♡☆♡

Fighting for favorite pen
These are wonderful. Colors are on point, the comfort I have in the grip when holding, the ease when writing with them, they dry so fast and do not smear. I wish they were a little bit cheaper and that you were able to get a value pack with ALL the colors in the sets.

Great pens
When I first opened the pack of pens, they were very spotty, but the more I used them, the better they became. The pens are lightweight, smooth, and come in cute colors. They also don’t smear when highlighted. However, the clicker at the top tends to stop sometimes, but overall, they are great pens.
