Kid LOVES it!
This book is one of my kid's favorites. I enjoy its humor and the ridiculous things that the pigeon says. If you like hot dogs and want to practice Spanish for yourself or with your child, this is a good book. The pigeon is a true hot dog connoisseur, and he speaks like it too.

So fun!
We bought this book for my niece. Her dad speaks Spanish and wants her to grow up bilingual. He and my other brother (who also speaks Spanish) weren't sure about some of the words and said that as far as the Spanish they knew (they lived in Chile and Argentina for a few years) "perro caliente" didn't quite mean "hot dog." So we think that maybe this book is meant mostly for Spanish speakers in the U.S. Still, it was very fun and we all had a good time reading it. My four year old thought it was hilarious to hear one of his favorite books in another language.

Adults Learning Spanish With Childrens Books
I am an adult trying to learn Spanish and I find it easier to read books made for young children. There are about 32 pages. The pages have simple pictures with a few words or a sentence on most of the pages. I think the book is fun to read for an adult who is learning Spanish.

Muy lindo y divertido
Compre este después de tener el de "No dejes que la paloma conduzca el autobus" y esta muy divertido... a los niños les encanta! Se ha convertido en su libro favorito junto con el del autobus. Ademas para niños que estan empezando a leer esta muy recomendado.

Es un libro muy dievrtido, pero tiene una ironía que, por lo meno mis hijas, no entienden. A mi sí que me gusta, es un capricho.

Ideal para edad preescolar
Mi hijo de 5 años lo disfruta mucho, especialmente por que está aprendiendo a leer, tiene letras grandes, diálogos simples y divertidos. También le gusta que se lo leamos antes de dormir, imitar las voces de la paloma y la patita es muy divertido para ellos.
