Follow the directions on the bottle. This product calls for less solution for cleaning than the Whirlpool/KitchenAid product. Excessive foaming did not occur. **Q: Can you use this on an igloo portable counter top icemaker? Please someone let me know thank you** A: I have a portable NewAir counter top icemaker and the product works well for cleaning it. My icemaker has a cleaning cycle on it, but I have also run this solution through on a normal ice making cycle to clean. I just disposed of the ice made after all solution was used up. Make sure to run fresh water through the cycle after using solution and rinse surfaces as well. **Q: Is this usable on a follett 7 series ice/water dispenser?** A: I don't think it is brand specific.
