Based on my research at the time, the filtration performance is top-notch, providing excellent protection for my engine. It is designed for use with synthetic oils, which gives me peace of mind for longer oil change intervals. In fact I normally change my oil and filter once a year since I do not drive much (e.g. <10k). But the last time around I only changed the oil and left the filter on since it's rated for 20,000 MILES which is ~32,000 KM.
