This was perfect for our needs was very easy to install high-quality and a great value for the money. I highly recommend it.

I bought to use in my drop ceiling basement after receiving a free Mitsubishi xd221u lcd projector from a friend. I was a bit reluctant due to the price but it is well worth it. I am not "handy" and this was an easy install with a ton of extra sized screws and parts to fit my projectors needs. Actual panel fit right in my 2" x 2" drop ceiling space. Well constructed and not a single part is made with inferior materials. I like the different adjustment mechanisms to perfect alignment of the image.Not sure if it is available but would like to see an extension arm offered that is compatible with this unit, this would enable someone with a higher ceiling to get the projector down lower where less adjustments need to be made via the projector settings (lens shift, zoom, keystone, etc.)

This was by far one of the best investments we have made! We use drop ceiling and the actually ceiling is maybe about two feet higher than the drop ceiling so before we were using a long arm projector mount to go straight to the actually ceiling, but there would be a lot of shaking and the projection image would ‘unadjust’. I took the advice of another buyer and took the time to use my existing ceiling tile instead of just using the metal ceiling tile provided. Simply cut the outline of the arm, put the original drop ceiling and then the metal plate on top of the drop ceiling, and screw in the arm! It looks great and clean! Highly recommended, very sturdy and easy to use!

The cost of this turned me away the first time. I went with a vaulted projector mount which was difficult to install and was an eye sore as it went through the ceiling tile. I finally decided it was time to try this out and it was well worth it. The ease of install, multiple mounting points on the tile and the strong, versatile swivle arm mount got my projector lined up perfectly. It is no longer an eye sore and I actually catch myself staring at it every once and a while. I didnt need to use the option to attach a gang box but this is just too cool.Don't make the mistake I made. Go with the ceiling tile.

Other than the ceiling tile plate, I liked the look of the mount itself. It's just big enough to fit all the necessary cables through and small enough to look nice and can easily adjusted to point to any angle.As far as the ceiling plate, my dilema was that I got 2 X 4 tiles. To put it where I wanted, I'd have to place it in the middle of the 2x4 space, and cut 2 1x2 pieces of tiles to place on either side. Talk about ugly! The color and finish of the plate does not help either and all those little screw holes and cut outs, Yuck! So instead, I just cut a small holes in the middle of my existing 2x4 tile (to fit all the cables through) and place the metal plate on top (hidden from view) of my exiting tile. Now it just looks like the mount sits below the old ceiling tile. I had to replace the 2 mounting screws with longer ones for the extra thickness of the ceiling tile

I followed the installation instructions, but when I got to the part requiring me to fit the mount to my Epson 8345, the arms were not long enough. I called Amer the next day and I was immediately put through to someone. He stated he would call me the next day regarding availability of longer projector mounting arms. 2 hours later he called and stated that the extension arms just finished production so they did not have an item number in order for me to buy them. Since they were not able to sell them to me yet, they had a set shipped directly to me from the manufacturing location in FL. I received a FedEx package the next day with the extension arms and they fit perfectly, which helped keep me from needing to remove the suspended ceiling tile install and return the entire kit. The responsiveness of this company was exceptional. The product is all metal and very sturdy with plenty of ways to adjust the projector angle.Great product and very responsive company.

This was very easy to install, just popped it in the grid. Easy to hang a projector.

the mount is great for drop ceiling. only problem i had was that one of the screw was defective and had to exchange it for a new one. wish they would provide just the screw but Amazon do not do that.
