This is so cool! I love that it even came w a magnetic strip for the phone because my clear case didn’t have one so it made it accessible to use!!

I bought this product to hold my phone up alongside my iMac while I'm working at my desk. All of my phone cases for my iPhone 13 Pro Max have metal plates attached to them for use in my car, so I thought this would work just the same on the magnet pad on the CloudValley phone holder. It didn't hold well at all! I was disappointed, thinking the magnets were not strong enough on the new phone holder. Luckily, I had noticed the MagSafe style metal rings that were included with my new phone holder. I popped one of the thick magnetic plates off one of my cases and installed the included metal ring. Wow - what a difference! It holds like a vice and works great! I'm now looking to buy more of the CloudValley phone holders for my car, truck and home office as well!

Caution: very strong adhesive. So strong that it is almost impossible to remove without damaging the computer and then will NOT stick to anything else. When my work computer crashed, I scratched the computer trying to get this off and then it wouldn’t stick to my new computer so I had to buy a whole new one. On the positive side, the magnet is strong and it works well for my purpose. It is easy to install.

Oh my goodness I saw this waiting in a long wait at the California DMV. I was trying to remain patient in a chaotic waiting room with children screaming and running back and forth to the bathroom. Which was out of the view of the parent and where men came in and out of but I digress. A gentleman sat down across from me opened up his MacBook and that’s when I saw this ingenious gadget. The way it allowed him to view his phone, all while saving space was all I needed to see. Instantly I’m trying to make eye contact without him thinking I’m flirting. He looks up and I ask him about it. He was so nice he even dropped me the link to buy it here. Super sturdy. Easy to see. Great value and easy to apply and stays on. Will be buying another to apply to my laptop at work too

The concept behind this product is appealing, and the magnetic hold is very strong. Unfortunately, that strength is also its biggest problem. Once attached to my MacBook, removing it caused significant damage. The force required to detach it resulted in the screen cracking from the back through to the front, damaging the LCD on a very expensive laptop. There is no clear warning about how permanent the attachment can be or the potential risk to your device. Buyers should be aware that once this is applied, removal is not simple and may cause damage, especially on thinner laptops. While the idea is good in theory, the lack of guidance or warnings makes this a risky product. I would strongly advise caution before attaching it to any high-value device. Warmly, Dennis Schleicher

Works great. I bought one for me and my wife, and use it everyday while working.

Beware adhesive is left to be desired. Buy double sided tape or get good bond glue. This is definitely a cool product. I use it in my tablet case so I can prop my phone on the side when im reading or something. I wanted to try it for mounting a second screen for legion go. Wouldn't stick. Sad. Better options out there.

The product comes with a magnet holder to attach to the iPhone. With just a magsafe case it doesn't hold well. This product is nice for all smartphones since it doesn't matter whether you have or don't have magsafe.
