I don't have a green thumb, I usually kill plants.... even cactus and Aloe! I wanted to grow some herbs really bad so I thought well ill give it a try. I chose thus kit because of all the wonderful reviews. When I got it I immediately read the directions and soaked the seeds, planted them and put them in the plant room. (My bf has a green thumb) I checked on them every day multiple times and made sure the lamps were on 6 hours a day. And lo and behold they are growing!! I'm so excited... its the first ever successful planting from seeds for me! I treat them like they are my babies and I talk to them. I only started with 3 cuz I didn't want to waste any I wanted to make sure I was able to grow these. This weekend I'll be planting 3 more. Did I say how easy this kit is to use? I was so surprised at how much soil those disc's made when water was added! Thus is the perfect kit for a beginner. If I can do it then anyone can!

I enjoyed this kit as a plant newbie wanting to grow some herbs. It's nice that the it has everything you need - seeds, soil, pots with drainage, and instructions. I haven't grown all the herbs yet, but I've done several and they've grown fairly well (some caveat due to the level of intention I give them...)

Got this as a gift for my wife. She likes to cook and add greens in all meals. She said the variety of herbs is great, and the garden was easy to start. White pots are very beautiful and fit in nicely in our kitchen. Garden kit came in well packed, everything was included. Great kit for a great price.

I have ZERO experience with gardening. Backstory: I once owned a spider plant because I was told they’re impossible to kill. (It died on me) needless to say, I have no clue what I’m doing. However.. This kit has great step-by-step instructions, came with all the necessary supplies, it was so easy and FUN! Loved it. Within a few days my seeds sprouted and now they’re growing so fast, already a few inches tall. I’m so proud that I send photos to all my friends boasting about my cute herb garden. My husband thinks this means I can now cook amazing Italian meals with these fresh herbs. LOL. One thing at a time.

I received this as a Christmas gift and loved it. It’s a really fun idea for someone that needs a hobby. It’s well packaged. It has everything you need. But I subtracted one star because as the other reviewers have said my pots cracked.

I purchased this kit for my brother, who has been experimenting with many different types of herbs in the kitchen lately. One of his goals for the new year 2022 was to have his own herb garden. He loved this gift and is eager to get it set up so he can cook with his fresh herbs. I love planting/gardening and almost kept the gift for myself. Upon opening the package, everything you need is inside, along with detailed instructions. I'm very excited to watch how my brother cultivates his new herbs! :)

I'm really happy with with this herb kit--it's exactly what I was looking for. It truly comes with everything you need and all the items are labeled and detailed for a beginner like me. The pots are a good size and durable. The seeds spouted the day after I planted them. I thought the gardening tools included in the kit were unnecessary at first but then I found I actually used them and they were useful and helpful--better than using a kitchen spoon for sure. I recommend this product and would purchase again. As far as it being giftable, my package was a little banged up when I got it but everything inside was perfect. I would still gift it but would use another box.

I have never grown anything before and wanted to see if I could. The box and garden tools that came with the product were great. The planters did not have great drainage with some of the holes at the bottom needing clearing. There did not appear to be as many seeds as stated and the instructions said to soak them. Many of the seeds were so small and soaking them made them much more difficult to handle and plant, so some of my seedlings were closer together than they should have been or closer to the wall of the planter than needed. All of my seeds that I planted did sprout and started to grow, when I noticed mold growing on the sticks for naming the plants. I tried to save my plants by pulling them out, but it was too late and my plants were sick and began to die. I ended up tossing all of them and that was a waste of money which did not please me at all. I learned that I have a somewhat green thumb and with the right information, good soil and planting of the seeds in the proper planters, I can have a nice little garden. I'm not quite sure why mold started in the planters and will not use plastic planters again. The instructions needed to be clearer for soaking, watering, using plant food, ect.... I received better information from the internet after the fact. The company needs to look into why several of us developed mold in the planters and make sure that they drain well. From now on I will buy the seeds, soil and planters from a garden shop and see how I do the next go round. Happy Planting!
