25 Simple & Cozy Crochet Blankets: Easy Patterns for Afghans, Throws, and Baby Blankets

I purchased this for a gift to my daughter-in-law. She has made several blankets. She was very happy with the instructions -easy to follow and the results.

I didn’t think I would find a hobby I love as much as crocheting. I learned from my mom when I was very young and stopped doing it, life, marriage, kids took up most of my time so I started again at 59. Right now, my passion is blankets. Love this book. It has so many good patterns.

Great book. Found several pretty patterns I liked and they seems basic enough for me to grasp. Descriptions of stitches good and includes pictures. Recommend this book.

I've recently taken up crochet so have gone overboard with buying pattern books for throws and scarfs. Starting to look at them has blown my mind a bit as the patterns are very complicated - think I've got aspirations beyond my ability. So getting this book has been such a good step in the right direction. There are described as easy but these patterns will move towards intermediate level which I like. Looking through the book I love that the patterns are often just one line so easy to remember and relax while you are stitching. I particularly wanted to try some chevron designs and there are a few in here. There is also good guidance about the wool to use. I'm looking forward to working my way through this book.
