Make sure you Teflon tape heavy or you will have a leak. Donโt over tighten!
Built well. If I were install it again I would have added even more teflon tape. I ended up with a small drip on the outlet.

Should have known better than to buy this knock off for original Hayward chlorinator
Water does not fill up inside causing chlorine tabs to be highly concentrated. It caused me to have very high stabilizer problems which there is no remedy, unless you drain water out of your pool. it will prematurely wear out your liner It also has inferior. plumbing threads that do not match up

Direct replacement/knockoff of Hayward CL200 Unit at close to 50%
This seems to be a really good copy of the Hayward CL200 unit. I installed mine today and everything went together exactly like my broken Hayward that I replaced. Quality seems to be on par with the Hayward unit. Weight and feel/general impression is excellent. Time will tell. It's about half the price.

Cheap alternative to brand name.
Same as brand name at a fraction of the cost.

Expect 5 year life
Lasts about 5 years, then plastic is brittle from sun and chlorine. Will eventually crack and need replacement. Im on my second one - still easier or longer lasting that other options beyond converting to salt water.
