If your existing clear lacquer coat is nitrocellulose, then spraying the ColorTone Aged Clear will work out just fine and will give you an aged, vintage look. Just scuff sand the existing lacquer with 320-grit sandpaper, and your good to go. If the existing finish is NOT nitrocellulose, though, you will not be able to use this product.
