This is a great camera. Very crisp images even at night and the 36x optical zoom works fantastic. I initially had an issue with the mounting bracket. However, shortly after submitting a tech support request Robin P. got back to me and quickly resolved my issue. I have purchased several Sunba cameras over the years and have found technical support after the sale to be excellent. Therefore, highly recommend this brand.

I've purchased multiple Sunba cameras and been happy with the value. This camera is very large and loud when it moves, but otherwise is an excellent choice for most applications, particularly in commercial properties where the 25X zoom will be useful. (I prefer the 405 series for residential applications, as they are smaller and quieter.) However, the customer service was excellent, I had a problem connecting to a PTZ Network Keyboard, and the keyboard seller blamed Sunba's cameras. Robin P, Sunba's Technical DIrector, ended up communicating with me and trying to work through the problem, and ultimately bought the same network keyboard to verify it worked. It turned out the problem was the keyboard, and SUnba is reaching out to the manufacturer (not seller, it's white labeled) and tryign to help them with a fix. However, RObin also helped with a workaround that allows the keyboard and camera to work together until/unless the problem is fixed. Definitely above and beyond.

This camera works exactly how I wanted it to, it’s built very sturdy. The ai motion tracking works well after some tweaking. The night vision is extremely bright. Overall I’d highly recommend

this is my 2nd sunba camera,, and my last,, the first one quit working altogether in just over a year, the second one still kinda works but is not able to pan (move) at all. it is just over a year old,, over$600.00 for just 2 years worth of camera use is a bit much,,

They actually list the OPTICAL zoom range as 5.2mm to 130mm in the spec sheet image. Most , if not all, of other cameras leave you guessing about what you'll get. Some of the "30x optical" are really only 20x optical with digital zoom added.

I would not normally write a review as I expect a product to work and keep working fine. I've had this for a while and recently Chrome made a patch which broke the viewer, I contacted support and Robin P responded quickly to fix my issue with a firmware. The quality of service is a great reason to buy a product, and this product has it!

I purchased two of these cameras, and four of the P636 models. They all seem to have an AI built in with its' own personality. But one of these cameras, despite having been mounted per instructions, failed after only 9 months of use. Power over PoE does not work, nor does power directly via the power input on the camera. I'll be sure to update this review to add my experience with a warranty replacement. According to their website, they will send the "parts" and an instruction document on how to replace necessary parts. Hopefully they aren't expecting me to rebuild the entire camera. In fairness I'll say that this camera functioned adequately when paired with the Synology Surveillance Station. However, many of the features aren't as easily accessible in SS as are those with Hikvision cameras, etc. Many features require finding a computer that has the now-obsolete Internet Explorer browser and using an ActiveX addon in order to view/manipulate with a browser. That's a little archaic in my book. But if you can deal with not having an easy web interface, and like other reviewers have said, many of the features are unstable, then you'll be happy if you're willing to spend some time working with it. Otherwise, just spend the extra money to get Hikvision cameras from an authorized dealer (found out the hard way that Hikvision won't even assist in the mandatory process for password reset on their cameras, if not purchased at an authorized dealer!) UPDATE: 06/30/2023 I still haven't received any response on how to handle getting this defective unit replaced, but funnily enough I found that I did have a message from Sunba in my Amazon inbox, regarding this review. So I've reached out via that interface in hopes that I might be able to make some headway. Will definitely update this again when/if there is more progress.
