A: The ohm rating for the 2242 sending unit per Autometer is 240 ohm at 0psi to 33 ohm at 100psi.

**Q: What does short sweep mean?**
A: This sender is specifically designed to work with Auto Meter electronic gauge that has about a 45 degree sweep of the needle, which is a relatively short sweep compared to other gauges.  It may work with other similar brands of oil pressure gauges that have a similar movement.

**Q: Does this sending unit work with Auto meter 3327?**
A: Yes . I Have the same gauge and it works perfectly in my 1965 Ford Mustang retromod with the American Auto wire harness

Works as it should once you establish a good ground! Teflon thread tape can be used to seal the pipe threads, but the unit must be screwed in very tightly to establish a good ground to the engine.
