Excellent product. Read this... IT NEEDS TO BE GROUNDED PROPERLY. There are two parts that need to be grounded. One is the clock, using the black cable and the other one is down part of the sensor. If you don't ground it the clock will mark 40grades. If you ground the sensor using the same part of the signal cable (the green one of the clock), it will mark 150 grades. If you want the clock to mark correctly, ground the down part of the sensor and conect the green cable, which comes from the clock, in the up part of it. Think of this, there is a black part in the middle of the sensor, the up part needs the green cable of the clock and the down part needs to be grounded.

Product is very simple to wire up. I’ve had this in my garage for 4 months, busy with other projects, and finally got around to installing it. Easily installed and wired, however, it is reading a constant 302* and the warning light is on constantly. This is obviously not the case on a cold start, so it must be that either the included sensor is faulty, or the gauge itself is faulty. Because I’ve had it in garage for 4 months, I am past the “warranty” timeframe and must purchase another outright… Key takeaways, install it ASAP. Looks good when installed. If it works, great, if it doesn’t like mine, exchange it ASAP.
