I bought several of these for the private drawing lessons I teach. When drawing portraits they are so handy to check size and scale. A valuable tool, it feels good in your hand and easily locks in place.

They hold a setting well and the extra clips, which wear out, are a good addition. The quality is good for the price, but I would pay more for a device made out of metal.

I had another proportional divider but the pivot got too loose so it wouldn't stay at size chosen. This one is very tight at the pivot so I hope it stays tight longer. It is pretty much ide tidal to my first one, though. I love using this for my oil paintings to get proportions correct.

It does what it is designed to do. And accurate, too. Highly recommend.

I would have liked to see a more sturdy product. I think it needs a locking nut to keep it in place, once you have set it. Thinking about getting a better quality one. Not quite up to my expectations. Needs instructions on how to use, for sure. Had to go on the internet to see exactly how to use them.

Aside from the fact that it feels like I may break several of my fingers every time I remove the plastic pegs it works quite well. Once the stubborn pegs are set in place it is easy to adjust and with practice I can see this being a useful tool, if tragedy strikes and I happen to break it I will readily buy a replacement.

Improves accuracy when drawing and painting and also improves eye-hand co-ordination

I paint and this really helps me with the proportions. I highly recommend it!

Good tool but expensive as compared to quality, it is made of simple plastic.
