It has sharp edges & corners. It would be very easy to cut a serious gouge in your skin, on the corners especially. Edges & corners really should be rounded off or there needs to be some sort of frame around the thing. I don't understand why the manufacturers didn't do it. (I'm going to try duct tape for now.) My daughter needed one for her Fashion Design class and this one was the right size and the right price. It has three different light levels all of which you can cycle through by pushing the button. It seems very sturdy and worked like a champ right out of the box. It did come with a usb power cable but not the wall plug adapter.
