This is a very substantial and corkscrew. It works very effectively to quickly open wine bottles. The foil cutter also allows you to easily remove the foil covering the cork. It has a nice feel and a very handsome appearance.

This is a no brainer, so much higher quality than anything else I've seen at this price. highly recommend!!

I found the foil-cutting blade extremely difficult to pull open; otherwise, it has a nice look, weight, and feel. Well worth the price ($18.25 when I purchased).

A good hand wine opener. Nice fit and finish. Does its purposeful job well. It does take a bit of practice to wield best. My professional barkeeper son asks for this brand by name--as he tends to go through these by handing out and needs replacements. In my day I worked in fine restaurants and would have readily used this product. My one thought is, for how much longer will cork screw openers be useful (as more and more wine goes to screw tops)? Yet as a traditionalist that appreciates corked wine and the art of serving it, these openers fit the bill.
