A little flimsy but perfect for my needs
Purchased to make wedding wands with ribbon and bells. They are a little rough but that actually made it easier to tie satin ribbon without it sliding everywhere. A little more flexible than I expected but I think they will hold up just fine.

Not a full 12 inches long
These dowels are smooth enough, and seem as sturdy as they can be for a 1/8 inch piece. The problem is that they are not a full 12 inches long, but rather 11 3/4 inches. While that seems like a minor difference, it can be a big deal if you need that full 12 inches for your particular project.
