Opens cans with no issues. Seems like it's a good quality tool. I only wish that the turning handle would be made out of metal as the plastic seems to be a bit thin and might break when opening bigger cans.

I bought this as I am starting to have difficulty opening cans The first thing I saw was how big it is .I believe someone with arthritic hands might find it awkward to grip. To be fair when I tried it out I was pleasantly surprised at how easy I found it to use.

There is nothing like going back to the old tried and true can opener I used during my childhood instead of the electric can opener plus this one doesn't take up much cherished counter space. I bought an electric can opener but decided to send it back, even though it was less expensive than this one.
