Range and performance have never been as good as the reviews stated; and the A10, along with two other TP Links I’ve had (C2300’s) all suffer from the same major flaw. At some random point, the router will disconnect from the Internet and will be unable to reconnect. The fix is to disconnect the router and turn it off for a period of 20 minutes. This worked for the A10 but not for the C2300’s which suffered from overheating.DO NOT BUY REFURB’s FROM TP LINK unless you can get an extended warranty and are willing to send them back from time to time. These modems are the most unreliable pieces of crap I’ve ever experienced. Can’t understand how the brand gets good reviews. I will never buy another TP Link product.Oct 2023 - literally threw all three TP Link routers - one by one - in the garbage as each one permanently lost WAN connection. Reverted to a single router - an old Linksys with DDWRT. Turned off wireless radios on it and bought inexpensive ($15 on Amazon) Belkin range extenders.
