You have to be lucky to get some. I never have. **Q: Are the hoops made of plastic?** A: Yes they are. **Q: I'm struggling with the screw tightening (and loosening). 1st time of using hoops. Should I be able to tighten sufficiently with my fingers?** A: No, you have to use a screwdriver! It will feel tight but nowhere near tight enough, especially when fixing over embroidery.
