Wow! This rod really surprised me! I purchased this rod to take within my luggage for a trip to Florida. I paired it with a 3000 Penn Battle and had a great time. It handled catfish, snapper, speckled trout, and even the lady fish in the picture. It casted nicely and was sensitive enough to let me feel the bottom (mud/rock/oysters). It also sets nicely too. This is my go to travel rod, and I normally keep it in the car just in case some fishing pops up.

Better rod and hard case than I expected for the price I paid. Took longer to arrive due to international shipping delays, but was extremely well packed. Happy to recommend product.

The fist time out the top part of the rod just snapped!!!...total waste of money!
