The classic way to mix a refreshing, fruity drink. In the tradition of the founder of our house, fruit syrup has been produced in Eystrup for more than 100 years. Ideal for long drinks, non-alcoholic mixed drinks or mixed with water. Mixed with mineral water creates the very personal lemonade - and Berlin whites get the right "shot" with Göbber syrup. Review: Will buy again! - Love this stuff! My husband discovered woodruff when he was at a local brew pub and he thought it was great. The bartender and other patrons indicated that it was hard to find and wasn't sold in liquor stores in the US. So I went on a search and found it and surprised him with it. He uses it on a fairly regular basis, when he has the right kind of beer, and we are experimenting with it in other uses. It is subtle enough that it imparts a nice flavor to whatever it's in, without being overpowering. For me, not a big beer drinker, the best part is that one of the sweeter parts of the complex flavor hits right at the point where the hop hits, doing away with the hoppiness. Will definitely buy more when this runs out. Review: The best thing you can add to a Berliner Weisse - I was a bit hesitant to buy this because I have used a different brand of Woodruff but I have been pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Although I do love the sourness of a berliner weisse, sometimes it is nice to balance that with woodruff or cherry flavors. It is hard to describe the flavor but I've always liked it. This is delivered outside of desertcart but the seller does a great job of packing the bottle and I experienced a quick delivery.

The best thing you can add to a Berliner Weisse

Hard to find syrup
Great syrup and tastes excellent with with water or mineral water. Also great to put over ice cream. Only thing I don't like is the size and price. To expensive for that size.

Traditional Berliner Weisse flavoring syrup
Used this (along with 3 other syrups) as a serving option for a Berliner Weisse style ale at a beer festival. People were hesitant to try it because they hadn’t heard of it before, but it quickly became the preferred syrup to add to the beer. I wish the bottle had a pump, like some other syrups have. A little syrup goes a long ways, so you have to be pretty careful when pouring it out of the bottle. If you could just squirt a little out with a hand pump, it would be easier. Great product.

does no contain actual woodruff
Woodruff is banned in the US, so this is an imitation product. The flavor is ok, not great in my opinion. I've used it to mix with beer and seltzer. With beer it's ok, but it missing a little herbal flavor, and with seltzer it's flat out too sweet without any real herbal flavor.

Good for whatever ails you
This Waldmeister syrup has a fresh taste and is a convenient way to flavor Maiwein for spring celebrations! Also makes a pleasant drink when added to sparkling water. It is used as a spring tonic in Germany. This syrup is more convenient than using homegrown Sweet Woodruff for flavoring.

When only Waldmeister will do
Just like I remember Waldmeister flavor from my childhood! I just made shaved ice with it and it was delicious. Can't get enough of this flavor, so I added it to my water too. Wish I could afford more than one bottle because at this rate it won't last long. Excellent taste!!

A bit pricey but…
Compared to another brand I just purchased months later, this was way better in its syrup-like consistency. When shaking the bottle, syrup would cling to the glass. The other one was totally watered down, making the content look like regular (green) water… Will be sure to pay attention next time.
