I have about twelve different dried chili peppers that I like to cook with. I love the smoked serrano especially for cooking chana masala and other Indian foods, but I frequently use it to sprinkle on whatever I am eating. This and the Calabrian chili pepper tend to sit out on the cabinet fir easy access. It was properly sealed and the aroma and taste are divine. Very happy with the purchase.

While definitely spicy, I think the smoky flavor mellows the heat a bit. The 4-oz package of powder was of nice fresh quality with a bright red color.

Excellent, fresh Serrano chile powder that is great with almost anything. One of my go-to spices to enliven eggs, tacos, dark chocolate mendiants with nuts and dates, soups, Mexican rice, and soups. It instantly adds some dazzle and a moderate amount of heat. Another favorite is the Guajillo. Similar heat level but not as smokey.

Delicious flavor - the tiniest pinch adds a punch of flavor - so lasts a long time. I am on my second bag simply because I have shared portions with family in addition to my own use. Love it in Pasta sauce, use it my Salsa, great on eggs - I bet its perfect in chili.

I love the seasoning!!! However when I ordered, there was a photo of the spice in a bottle, I received the spice in a sealed bag. Again the spice is flavorful and SO much better than Jalapeños! I was just surprised and minority annoyed at having to get a spice bottle to put it in. This review is just to inform you of what you are going to receive.

It’s really addes a pretty taste to the food

This stuff is so delicious. Perfect amount of heat and smoke. I have found I am putting it on almost everything. It's addictive. I ordered another right after my first try.
