Is this scanner twain compliant?

No it is not Twain compliant. There are two scanning modes in using the product. The first using the included InstantResult software scans to an on-screen application where you can output to a variety of formats. The other mode is that everything you scan is stored on a SD card plugged into the side of the scanner which can later be opened and processed with the included software

What is country of origin of this item?

Not sure. We have nad difficulty with the IRIS supplier in the USA/ California.

What is the max receipt length? I work with really long receipts..

It can do some really long ones but I don’t know that I have ever tested how long it will go. I have scanned 18 pages in a book as one long page before and it seemed to have problems if I took it to 19 pages. As long as I stayed under 18 pages it worked.

Does this product do image stitching for documents larger than the scan area?

I did not attempt the stitching operation. The interface was too small to read. It was also unable to scan all the way to the binding side of the page in any of the books I tried to scan.

Estoy muy satisfecho y cumplió mis expectativas el producto. Me gustaría: que la zona del sensor del escáner fuera más larga, eso evitaría estar girando constantemente el dispositivo para cubrir las páginas de algunos libros y revistas. También que hubiera una versión más larga del dispositivo. Excelente producto y útil.

Il scanne bien. Par contre, quand il s’agit de scanner une page d’un livre(celle de droite)c’est difficile car l’œil du scan ne se rend pas assez loin pour capter jusqu’à la marge du milieu du livre. Pour tout autre utilisation, documents, page de journaux etc c’est très bien.

Si lo vas a usar para escanear fotografías es muy bueno, rescatarás con excelente calidad tus fotos viejas; pero para escanear libros o texto no lo recomiendo, es un pésimo producto para eso, alguna aplicación para tu teléfono te va servir más.

I thought it was a defective scanner or my own incompetence but I returned this scanner and ordered another of the same make and model, hired Geek Squad to install it and even Geek Squad couldn't make it work.
