4502 Soft Close Full Extension Ball Bearing Drawer Slides 16" Zinc

These arrived in a timely manner. My husband installed them with a friends help & the work went very smoothly. The drawer slides make my kitchen so much more efficient & it saves me from reaching into a very deep pantry. They slide easy and are self closing once they get close to the door of the cabinet. I especially appreciate that I don't have to bend over or get down on the floor to reach heavy pots and pans in the back of the cabinet. I use Le Cruset & cast iron for cookware & both are heavy, the sliders work smoothly, The provider for Amazon sent the product quickly. The sliders are quality made , they appear to be very sturdy. Good when using heavy cookware.

Drawer slides look like high quality but are not smooth and looking ball bearings and not closing good :(

I am professional woodworker of 30+ years. I thought I would give this Chinese manufactured knock-off of an Accuride drawer guide a try for a non-demanding home workshop project. Pros: -Inexpensive Cons: -COVERED WITH GREASE. There is no way to hold this product without spreading grease everywhere. I don't know if these is about corrosion while in ocean shipping containers or making up for poor sliding. I had to keep wiping my hands on paper towels and still got grease on my project. -NO SCREWS INCLUDED. This should be noted! -Self-retract did not work well. I had to give it a little push to go shut. This review is based on 12" 4502 model. The self-retracting mechanism may work better on longer guides. I cannot recommend this product. Spend a couple $ more and get a quality guide- Accuride, KV etc.

I need to replace a couple of existing draw sliders that would not stay shut. I was a bit leery after reading the other reviews but I tried them anyway. I was not disappointed at all. The slides were of excellent quality and were not greasy at all. Installed relatively easily. Work wonderfully! You will not be disappointed. I am going to replace all of our sliders a couple at a time. 12/31/18 These worked great for about 3 months, then they started not closing. After 6 months they were completely useless.

The quality is very good for the price. The performance is very good as well, though it is very difficult to align these properly. If the alignment is off by 1/16 inch, the soft-close feature does not work. Also, it would be nice if screws were included, they are for similar products from big-box retailers, and it would have saved considerable time trying to find screws that fit and did not interfere with performance.

I bought eight (8) pairs of these slides for a special project (indoor gardening under lights). My carpenters made a special point of telling me how impressed they were with the quality of these slides. They support 80 pounds of vegetable planters and operate perfectly, even when fully extended. They close smoothly and come to a smooth stop (no banging). While I'm reasonably handy, I am glad I used professional installers; heavy drawers require a good standard of carpentry, in my opinion.

Worked perfectly. Very pleased with the slide. Easy to install.

I should never have purchased something like this online. They seem like they are solid, but when installed they got hung up constantly and make closing the drawers a pain. Save your money and go elsewhere people!
