The author is the creator/developer for PassBoards--an Ai powered platform that builds on 15 years of Clinical Vignettes with real-time Ai oral board coach. This book book has 128 CASES IN THIS NEW 3RD EDITION OF OPHTHALMOLOGY CLINICAL VIGNETTES: ORAL EXAM STUDY GUIDE: Provides ophthalmologists a comprehensive system to prepare for the final step in board certification. Arranged in 6 standard test sections: (1) anterior segment, (2) posterior segment, (3) optics, (4) neuro-ophthalmology/orbit, (5) pediatrics, and (6) external disease. This new edition of Clinical Vignettes contains 128 cases; 16 of which are new. The prior edition cases have been updated. NOTE: ADDENDUM PG 219 CASE 84 PARAGRAPH 1 FIRST SENTENCE SHOULD NOT SAY WITH CONTRAST (ERROR) SHOULD READ-- WITHOUT CONTRAST. I will send an addendum page with future orders. JD Pemberton Review: Great cases, poor print - The cases are great and very helpful and I recommend them highly. That said, the print quality is so poor it makes me question if this is actually being sold by the original author/publishing company or if someone has taken the cases, put the same cover on it, and sold it off as their own. The pictures look like pictures of pictures. Additionally, there are several typos including multiple instances of using โIโ instead of โeyeโ as if someone dictated this while reading the original. All in all a very strange experience considering the reputation and price. Review: There are a lot of typos - There are multiple typos in the book that confuse the right and left eyes in the patient photos. After the first one or two I thought "that's probably a typo" but now that I've gotten to the 4th or 5th typo at the back of the book I'm starting to wonder if the author knows how to tell if an eye is OD or OS based off of a fundus photograph. Hopefully they have someone proofread and fix in the next edition.

Poor resource
Outdated format is not even correct for the boards any more. Lots of typos and several of the differentials are incomplete. There are much better resources out there

Excellent book, price is egregious.
If the publisher wants people to purchase this instead of just borrowing older versions from the library, the cost needs to be cut by 80%. $50- $75 is fair. The book is excellent but absolutely not worth the price.
