Perfect for a frequent blood donor who avoids most meats
I donate blood every 8 weeks without pause. I am an upper middle aged male adult who exercises on a daily basis. I've found that taking one of these iron tablets every other day keeps my iron levels in the middle of the acceptable range for donation. If I stop taking the iron tablets, my iron level will gradually decrease over the course of several months. As far as diet, I've played around with vegan but am back to eating some meats. I avoid red meat and pork but will occasionally have chicken. I avoid dairy and instead drink calcium fortified almond milk. I've noticed no side effect or adverse reactions to these iron tablets. Very affordable and convenient!
