Although this is a sweet story of a woman who goes from being a hoarder to being a helper of hoarders, take it from me -- someone who grew up with two hoarding parents from the depression era -- this book is a fantasy! In 2020, I got my hoarding mother out of her 60-year-old apartment in NYC. I threw away 300 bags of trash. She was hysterical and emotional -- screaming at me every night in the hotel where I placed her. I did bring many of the items to my garage in Arizona where they still sit. Take it from me -- nobody changes as quickly as the woman did in this book. It's not realistic -- hoarding is so deeply ingrained in people -- it's a deep psychological problem more than anything else. As a matter of fact, I happen to be a Certified Feng Shui Practitioner. I believe that the outside is a reflection of the inside; the clutter on the outside is the manifestation of all the inner clutter...so clean up the inner and the outer will clean up automatically. People don't change so readily. For example, even now, my mother and I are having a debate about whether she should keep a particular credit card which has an annual fee and that she never uses. She can't even throw out a kleenex after using it. I have to sneak into her room to get rid of any trash. With all this said, yes -- if you're looking for a sweet little fantasy story to read, then this is it. I hope I did not offend anyone who feels differently -- this is just my humble opinion.

A gentle and enjoyable read, you can take what you want to from it. There is a serious but eventually positive life lesson. Just read, relax and enjoy!
