Great Silicone Mitt
Very nice mitts. Be aware: they do not come as a pair. Jam is a happy red color. Wrist burns are minimized since the cuff is longer. Easy to clean and are machine-washable. I read an online comparison of oven mitts and the OXO Good Grips were rated as best. Men with large hands may find that these are a little small, however. The Hexclad mitts were my second choice but only came in black.

Exactly the right size to make me self-aware
I wish these were proportionally larger to accommodate an extra 1/4 to 1/2 at the width of my palm. As the product exists it's a good fit to one hand and a tight fit on my other. I am now plagued by the knowledge of my asymmetry.

Great silicone oven mitt!
So tired of fabric mitts that look heat resistant but are not. This is wonderful and thick but flexible and easily cleaned.

Take them or leave them, but they're too bulky
I'm usually a big fan of Oxo good grips products, but I feel like this one just doesn't do anything. Too bulky, no nimbleness or finger touch control. They're basically just over glorified kitchen towels. I bought these things coming through them in a drawer, and then basically didn't use them for a few months. When I finally used them, they were just so awkward. Oxo, if you're paying attention as the manufacturer, can you make kitchen oven mitts that look and fit more like a regular glove, with five fingers? I think a lot of people just want the nibbleness and the control that you get from a glove. Otherwise, it's just so much more easier and convenient and I feel like I have more hand control and grip with a folded kitchen towel that I do with these mitts.
