Celebrate 20 incredible years of OLOGY with this special edition of Egyptology - the journal of lost adventurer and Egyptologist, Emily Sands. With a stunning gold foiled cover featuring three "jewels" - and with its creation overseen by TGH James, ex keeper of Egyptian Antiquities at the British Museum - Egyptology is Emily Sands' lavish 1926 scrapbook journal of a lost expedition. Full of novelties and recreations, such as a piece of mummy cloth, a booklet on hieroglyphs and a board game, the book brims with beautiful art and fascinating facts about Ancient Egypt, and a has a final magnificent novelty at the back! The groundbreaking OLOGY series, which includes Dragonology , has sold more than 18 MILLION copies worldwide. Review: Fun and engrossing - This book is like the others of its type, meaning its perfect for kids who want to dig deeper into a subject or learn a random collection of information related to a particular subject. It is written in a kid-friendly way, aimed at pre-teen or teen reading and understanding level. These books are especially cool because they have pockets with removable bits, such as cards with additional information or bits of cloth that are examples of some detail that page talks about. The one about Greek and Roman mythology is also very cool. They don't dig deep into the history or facts in terms of learning them for academics, but they are excellent support material that can either help the subject to be more fun for the kid or extra material if the kid is particularly interested in the subject. Review: Wonderful Really a 100$ book - Fictional but Superbly done Only returned because I got two copies for xmass

Absolutely Worth Every Cent
My 5 year old (obsessed with King Tut) was absolutely fascinated and ended up falling asleep with this book in his arms the night he got it. Packed full of so much useful and amazing facts, anyone with a passion for egyptology could never regret spending the money on such a beautiful piece of literature. Fascinating.

Where's Mummy? Not on only fans - she's in here!!
What an awesome book. My second grader read it at school and asked if we could pick it up - so we did - because you can't argue logic with a feral eight year old. He loves it. Chock full of Egyptian history - which only goes to further his enjoyment of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

New but damaged…
The book is pretty cool other than the fact that it’s very obviously damaged and not new. There’s a dent on the front cover, one of the envelopes is taped and it looks like someone tried to dig out the jewel on the inside of the back cover. Very disappointing because the book wasn’t sold as “used” or “damaged”. Returning immediately and hopefully the next book will be in excellent condition.

Absolutely wonderful book for young historians
Our daughter loves Ancient Egypt and so we bought this for her as a Christmas present. It’s incredible. The level of detail is brilliant and it caters for many different learning styles. She’s still quite young for it (8yo) and so dips in and out of it at the moment, but I do feel this is something that will grow with her and grab her interest even more when she’s older. The quality of the artwork and included elements is outstanding.
