Perfect fit
I have used this product on several golf cart gas gauge installations, this sending unit works perfectly for those applications and I imagine it would work well with other applications. Excellent quality, fast shipping, would highly recommend.

Fits very well
Fuel level sensor fits very well. Wiring simple enough. The only issue I have is u order 1 inch shorter than tank height. My tank is 8 inches I had 2.5 inches of fuel in tank still registered E. By my calculations it should have been 1/4 or a bit lower. Put in an additional 10 gallons and I was expecting 3/4 tank on gauge and it was close. I guess it is better to read incorrectly on the lower end to keep from running out of fuel but I am picky. Lol.

Most reliable quantity senders out there ....
Simple, reliable, easy installation. Comes with gasket and new screws, but you might have to re-use your original screws depending on the thread pitch of your tank's holes. No big deal. These a far more reliable and accurate than the old float on a swing arm style senders. Just remove your old sender and tape measure the depth of your tank and subtract one inch for sender tube length, and order the correct length here on Amazon. You allow one inch clearance for tank expansion or change in shape between full and empty, and you'll have a little reserve fuel even when the gauge reads empty.

Nice unit
Replaced the original fuel level sending unit in a vintage 1990 Correct Craft Ski Nautique. It had two wires (a black and a pink wire) from the fuel gauge to the unit and one (green) grounding wire from the fuel fill inlet. I connected the pink wires to each other and the green and black wires to the black wire on the sending unit. Works perfectly so far. We will see how long it lasts...

Very nice unit. Accurate and has a good resolution.
I replaced the OEM's arm-type fuel sender in my Hydra-sports "Vector", due to its intermittent failure. I thought that utilizing the "reed switch" type would be a better component, so I went with this model - after measuring the tank depth. I found its color code to be "reversed" compared to my existing harness, but that was easily determined/corrected by using an Ohms meter to confirm which wire went to the battery ground. I then connected the unit to the harness before installing it into the tank, to verify its operation. Sliding the ring up and down the tube showed the expected response on my fuel gauge. (Just don't forget you need the battery and ignition switches "on" for the test). With all power "off" for safety, I then installed the sender per instructions. It is a complete kit, containing the gasket and the special screws for installation. The only PITA is getting that 5-point "star" screw hole pattern correct. It only aligns correctly one way and it's just difficult to see the difference without "some" trial and error, (especially if you coated the gasket with silicone). However, I eventually managed to get it right and cross-tightened the fasteners to facilitate completion. I knew the former sender's reading on the tank's contents, so with the new sender installed, it was good to see that it agreed with the former reading. This tank depth measured 17.5" from its bottom, to the top, (inside) - so I had to select this unit as the closest match, (the "guide" says to buy 1" shorter than actual internal tank space). But I decided that if this one read nearing empty "sooner", (due to that extra half inch of the fuel level) it would be better than being in error in the other direction, (showing fuel when there is none!). I recommend this unit, as it appears to be nice quality and includes everything you need in the package to make the replacement with ease. I would recommend adding silicone or your favorite sealant to the gasket, but if surfaces are clean and true, it may not be necessary.

Standard issue fuel sender, the easy way
Buying boat parts can be difficult. I thought (but was wrong) that my fuel sending unit was no good. It's the gauge on my boat, it just sucked, but that's another conversation. This was the exact replacement from the manufacturer. I thought I was going to have to chase around all over to find one, but no boat dealers carried them near me. Then I realized that the exact part I needed was on Amazon. Absolutely perfect solution. Installing the new unit was really easy. Yes, you have to pay attention to the orientation, but I mean, if you can't figure that out, maybe you shouldn't own a boat and do your own repairs. It's a gasket and 5 bolts, not rocket science.

KUS and WEMA are the same
Our boat came with a WEMA brand of fuel sending unit which delivered more than 20 seasons of reliable service. We wanted to replace it with the same brand and quality, but had a hard time determining whether "KUS" somehow became a descendant. From a website "We are pleased to announce the integration of Wema USA Incorporated into KUS Auto Group. KUS Auto has been a long time partner and supplier of products and components to Wema USA, Incorporated." Happy to report that the item I ordered from Amazon is of the same high quality as our original, including the gasketed hold-down screws, the main gasket, and a stainless steel housing with a quality slide float. Installed flawlessly, and quite pleased. RECOMMENDED

Easy install.
Worked very well and helped correct the issue I had with my new gauges not being the correct resistance reading for my old sensor.

Easy install, exact fit
Measure tank depth to ensure it will fit, give enough head room to allow the sending unit to not hit the bottom of the tank, Used on a 96 Four Winns Horizion 17.5' boat with inboard 80L fuel tank. Sending unit worked well and accurate (for a boat) better than the OEM arm+float style that this replaced. Modified existing 2 wire harness to connect to the wiring pigtail provided on the new sender without issue.

Perfect for the job
Using as a water level sensor in a shore well. Easy to mount securely on a galvanized steel strap with Tapcon (TM) concrete anchors to the side of the well, although nominally intended for mounting in a water/gas/diesel tank. Connected with 100 feet of 16/2 low voltage cable to a gauge from the same supplier and the two work together seamlessly. Recommended quality product.

Accurate but expensive but so is a tow when you run out of fuel
Seems a better design than the articulate arm type. Worked right away and showed correct level of fuel. I ordered 7", my take is 8" deep.
